Image  The Polish language school, ‘Glossa’ is pleased to announce that the annual competition, “Poland and I”, has started! The first prize is a two week intensive Polish language course in one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, Cracow. Send us your essay for between 3 and 4 pages about ‘Poland and I’ to be in with a chance of winning the language course in Poland, an on-line Polish language course or course handbook. The essays can be either in Polish or English.
The aim of the scholarship is to popularize Polish culture and language. The scholarship will give students an opportunity to participate in the Summer School of Polish Language and Culture, and allow them to improve their language skills and become more familiar with Polish culture and history.

Last year’s winner was Kay Zwolinski from Newcastle, who has studied Polish for three years now. Kay says, I’d encourage anyone to have a go!
